David Kamatoy

David Kamatoy is a juggler figuratively and literally. Working predominantly in the fields of entertainment and entrepreneurship. Kamatoy Media Group is about blending those two worlds.

As an entrepreneur, David spent more than a decade working with start-up and emerging companies as a consultant, coach, speaker, investor relations director and executive. Bringing that experience into the media production world is why fellow entrepreneurs feel comfortable working with David in communicating the vision and intent of their project.

As an entertainer, David is known predominantly as a juggler-comedian. Having performed across the country, mainly on the West Coast, he constantly is recognized as “that juggling guy.” It has happened in the boardroom, on the set and even in prison (he was visiting). Additionally he is a professional pianist, tenor, actor, and musical director.

As a producer, David is known for Jump Television Studio's Big Biz Show, Sully’s Biz Brew, The Capitalist and America Trends. He is currently launching a series of new TV shows created in San Diego and available for syndication including his own “DavidKamatoy.com Show” based on his original Radio Show and Blog.

He is the co-founder of Jugglemail.com an email marketing and CRM platform that helps entrepreneurs juggle and manage multiple projects and teams.

David Kamatoy's vision is to bridge the gap between traditional media and new media. Taking advantage of the lack of traditional production values in new media is a limited opportunity. KMG is looking to work with a handful of clients on business and content development in tandem with building their own projects.

Robert McCrea

Robert McCrea is a successful, educated, and highly effective business professional and entrepreneur. He is particularly adept with interpersonal connections by first listening to the client and then recommending solutions that often exceed their expectations. Robert has developed, created, and owned 8 companies, leading each to success.

From his early days as the owner and manager of a 3000 acre farm with 25 employees and 3000 head of cattle, Robert has expanded his areas of expertise to sales, marketing and consulting. As the Sales Manager for a local branding and marketing company, he managed a team that implemented marketing strategies to penetrate predetermined demographics through targeted promotions.

From there, Robert moved on to a major communications company where he led a specialty division to design and market specialized business development packages for a wide array of small, medium, and large businesses. More recently, as a CEO Robert spearhead all business start-up functions including business plans, initial capital investment, restructuring of jumbo loans, and marketing.

Robert McCrea is a competent leader and mentor who is able to create a team environment, including building collaborative relationships, coaching peers to perform at maximum efficiency, and forming coalitions to ensure that knowledge is shared across departmental lines.

Stephen Prendergast

Stephen Prendergast is the lead writer and editor for Kamatoy Media Group. An experienced educator with over two decades of experience teaching English up to and including community and technical college level, he brings a well-trained eye to all of the team’s project writing needs.

As an educator, Stephen began his career with a U.S. Navy college education program teaching writing and rhetoric skills to crew members stationed aboard local ships. He moved on to work in private, public, and currently charter schools, where he taught history in addition to English Language Arts. During this period he partnered with regional, state and national education organizations to plan and develop workshops for teachers in both English and Social Studies.

During a break from education, Stephen worked as a freelance writer to cover local events, sports and business projects. A highlight during this time was covering multiple championship seasons by the San Diego Sockers for an online soccer magazine. He has since returned to the classroom, but continues to produce the majority of Kamatoy Media Group’s written communications. With KMG, he has written business proposals, press releases, blog and media posts, and other related communications.

Teamwork makes the dream work, but a vision becomes a nightmare when the leader has a big dream and a bad team.

-John C. Maxwell
