Rose Sablan Navarro Celebration of Life July 10, 2024
December 2, 1959 – July 21, 2024
Rose Sablan Navarro, 64, of Chula Vista, CA passed peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Sunday, July 21, 2024.
She was born in San Diego, CA on December 2, 1959 to parents, Raymond and Rosa Sablan. Rose attended school in Chula Vista and graduated from Castle Park High School in 1977. She began her career in Optometry shortly after high school and excelled in that field for over 45 years. Rose had a smile that was infectious and a laugh that could fill the room. She loved life, she loved her friendships, and most importantly, she loved her family. Her children were her world and she devoted every minute to making sure they knew that.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Tosha Ray and husband, Leonard Heath; her son, Sean Navarro and wife, Vanessa; her sister, Dolores “Lola” Sablan Santos and husband, Joe; her brother Tommy Sablan; granddaughter, Alexis Gullatt and husband Cole, grandsons, Leonard Heath Jr. and Mason Ray; and three great grandchildren who knew and loved her as their Mama Rose. She is loved by many nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Rosa Sablan; her brothers Ray and Frank Sablan; her sister Barbara Sablan, as well as many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Rose on August 10, 2024 at 11am.
